These fine butterscotch shortbread are delicate and thin with a buttery crumb, enriched with golden pieces of butterscotch. The butterscotch pieces melt into the biscuit during baking providing a distinctive taste and crunch when it’s eaten. Particularly good with ice-cream and chilled deserts.  

These biscuits are baked using wheat from the Duchy Home Farm at Highgrove, Gloucestershire, and other organic farms in Britain. Most of our biscuits use a traditional variety of wheat called Maris Widgeon, which grows tall to outpace weeds and provides protection from birds and insects on organic farms.
